The draft LCSA methodology of ORIENTING will soon be ready for public consultation
ORIENTING is working on the development of a robust, operational and transparent Life Cycle Sustainability Assessment (LCSA) methodology, applicable by users with different background and expertise for different decision-making contexts.
A draft version of the LCSA methodology will be ready in May, and it will contain principles, overarching structure and guidance, with a particular emphasis on the goal and scope definition of an LCSA study.
We have organised a series of events and activities during which stakeholders will have the possibility to consult the work done in ORIENTINT and contribute to its further development:
5 May 2022: Launch Webinar for the ORIENTING LCSA methodology
This webinar will introduce the audience to the draft LCSA methodology of ORIENTING and launch the open consultation process.
This webinar will be open upon registration (until May the 4th). You can find the program here:

9 May – 3 June 2022: Open consultation on the draft ORIENTING LCSA methodology
The draft LCSA methodology of ORIENTING will be open for consultation from 9th May to 3rd June. All registered stakeholders are kindly invited to check the document and actively contribute to its further development: we look forward to receiving your constructive input and proactive suggestions!
For accessing the document, you need to be registered as a stakeholder of ORIENTING.
30 June 2022: Online Workshop to discuss on the ORIENTING LCSA methodology
In this workshop we aim to present and discuss the draft ORIENTING LCSA methodology, including the results of the public consultation process that take place between May-June 2022.
